It is not that difficult to dive... if you have the right conditions! Comfortable boats, good diving equipment and instructors speaking your language and always ready to help, will make all dives at Delphis Diving Centers trouble-free. No matter if it is your first dive ever or you are an experienced diver, we will make sure you feel comfortable and as such can fully enjoy the beauty there is to see.

We can make a long marketing talk about safety and how we think a dive center should work, but believe the numbers are there to prove the facts. By now, we have guided in our dive centers far over half a million dives and without any serious accident occurring. Dive safe, join us!

OVERVIEW

If you can swim and are healthy, you can learn to dive. Even small health issues often form no obstacle ( ask your doctor for a “fit for diving” statement to avoid any disappointment ). Our instructor team on Royal Island is very very experienced. Most of them made far over 5000 dives, taught hundreds of people to dive in all age categories and speak three or more languages fluent. On top of that good equipment and small groups... the road to any beginner course is wide open for you!

DOUBTING?

It is new, you never did it before and of course you feel anxious about it. To help you overcome this we start in the shallow lagoon with a small lesson and... no charges apply. We have to warn you, most people are hooked within maybe 5 minutes and will already start planning diving opportunities in their next holiday.

DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING

In the three dive Discover Scuba Diving program we keep the exercises and theory to a minimum. Though starting in the lagoon, the main idea is to show you how great diving is and move to the house-reef as soon as you feel comfortable. Of course your instructor will be close at all times to keep you safe!

SCUBA DIVER

This course lays down the basics of becoming a diver. Though some learning and exercise involved, during this pleasant holiday course you will have enough opportunity to enjoy the beautiful underwater-world around Royal Island. After finishing the course you are allowed to dive while accompanied by a dive professional and have the opportunity to upgrade to Open Water Diver at any PADI dive center.

OPEN WATER DIVER

The Open Water Course is still to be considered the foundation of your future dive life. Not only do you learn the basics, but also how to plan your dives safely. If you doubt, just start with Scuba Diver as the first 5 dives of Open Water are exactly the same, so switching or upgrading is possible at any point. After your certification you are allowed to dive together with another Open Water Diver together.

OVERVIEW

Already certified and looking for great dives? Baa Atoll in Maldives can offer a lot and Royal Island is ideally located for reaching all the dive sites in a short boat trip. Beautiful reefs with overwhelming fish life make you want to stay underwater your whole holiday.

ORIENTATION

Daily at 11:00 hours we organize a free orientation dive. Obligatory for all divers, in about 15 minutes we will know how much weight you need and get you comfortable again with the equipment. Equally important we will have an idea of your diving skill, which makes it possible to plan your dives better so that you can get the most out of it, no matter if you are a beginner or a very advanced diver...

BOAT DIVES

After the orientation we hope you will join us for our boat dives. We visit twice a day the best places of Baa atoll. Though our planning depends on weather, level of our divers, currents etc, feel free to request a site as we will do our utmost to accommodate your wish.

NIGHTDIVES

Twice a week we organize night dives. As sunset in Maldives is roughly around six o'clock it is a great opportunity to see different life, more colours and be back in time for dinner. What more can you wish for your holiday.

OUR COURSES

Maldives is the place to continue your diving education. Clear warm water, experienced instructors and leaving your daily stress behind, your experience grows almost without effort. If you want to optimize your holiday even more you can start reading the theory at home and concentrate here on the waterworks.

ADVENTURE DIVER

The Adventure diver course is a great balance between learning something new and enjoying your holiday. Three dives in specialized areas (e.g. Photography, drift or night) tailor made to increase your confidence in more advanced dive conditions.

ADVANCED OPEN WATER

The Advanced open water diver course is kind of an “Adventure plus course”. The same three specialized dives can be there, plus two extra. Five very diverse dives boost your experience and might even make you ready for the next step on the certification ladder.

THIRSTY FOR MORE

You want to know more, learn more, gain more experience? We offer interesting specialty courses in most of the diving areas. Underwater photography, night diving, Enriched Air, Multilevel diving, Deep diving etc etc and much more is possible.
